My Experience:

It had been years since my last visit to Laughlin, and I’m sorry it had been so long. I had a wonderful time and too little of it for all of the things to do while visiting.

There are several ways to drive to Laughlin, from the Coachella Valley I went through the desert via Desert Center, US 95, I-40 and a few side streets..drive time less than 3 1/2 hours.. many people rather go freeway all the way, that would have taken me 5 hours..check mapquest before you leave.

Casino Drive in Laughlin now has nine casinos, only one truly has the best rooms in Laughlin and that is the Aquarius Casino Resort. Having spent millions on a total makeover, the rooms are every bit of nice, comfortable, spacious and quiet with an over the top inexpensive price….I’m not kidding, go to the Aquarius web site and see for yourself..you’ll be booking a trip before you know it.

The gaming floor is easy to navigate, with all the slots you can think of, plus table games and plenty of restaurants. For a beautiful evening out the Vineyard Ristorante is the place. Chef Robert Doyle will definately make dishes that please the pallet and will stop by table-side to make sure you are happy. Of course there is a buffet and cafe, one evening I had room service, delivered complete with table clothe, all the sides and HOT!

The views of the Colorado River are everywhere considering the Aquarius is situated along the shoreline. Water taxi’s leave from the Aquarius’s private dock and will take you wherever you want to go..

Beside how much I enjoyed the Aquarius, I was amazed at how much there is to do in Laughlin..all types of water activities, an outlet mall, hiking, biking, tours to nearby tourists attractions and more. For a step back in time, visit Oatman in Arizona. Only about 30 minutes away, it’s a world away in era. Oatman is an old mining town where the burros roam freely on the streets looking for goodies.

Laughlin is more of a laid back vacation, with resort style clothing…however, the outdoor nightclub at the Aquarius is perfect for heels and a dress ladies…lots of fun and great music.

I had a blast in Laughlin and really enjoyed my stay at the Aquarius..visit the above web sites, make your reservations and then tell me all about it when you get home!!
