Once again the Borrego Days Desert Festival has come and gone. This year the crowds were larger than ever and the festival offered more than ever. As the parade emcee, I have a blast. As a visitor to Borrego Springs, there is something about this community that makes me relax, smell the roses and see how beautiful life is.
Only 90 minutes from the Coachella Valley, off of 86S, this is a perfect day trip for the entire family,
or the perfect getaway like Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, Bing Crosby and a slew of celebrities once did.

What was once a secret is a destination for many, with no big box stores, traffic lights or fast food chains. Not to worry, you’ll love it, and the skies at night are filled with amazing star shows.
If you are a pilot, there is a landing strip used quite often by the military, and some fabulous dining throughout the community. If you can’t find me in the Coachella Valley, chances are I’m in Borrego Springs!
