My Experience:

Cedar City, Utah is a wonderful historic town with so much to offer the traveler and perhaps you. About 180 above Las Vegas, off of I-15, as I said on the show it’s one of those towns you think about driving through and not stopping………..STOP!!!!!

I stayed at the lovely Iron Gate Inn Bed and Breakfast, within walking distance of Main Street, local parks, the University and the Shakespeare Festival. People visit Cedar City from all over the world to attend this Festival, or to visit Bryce Canyon or Zion National Park. Yet only 21 miles away is the gorgeous Cedar Breaks National Monument where I spent an afternoon, with camera in hand.

While in Cedar City, I played golf at the Cedar Ridge Golf Course. A fun, well maintained course with scenic views in every direction, the cost is $22 for 18 holes, with cart…You don’t need a tee time, and yes, it is almost to good to be true…shhhhhh, we’ll keep it our secret.

I also shopped on Main street, went to the very informative visitors center, the Frontier Museum, the Iron Gate Winery, and more. Throughout the trip I met friendly people, locals and travelers alike who love this small community with a big city feel.

Will I go back, of course!! I want to better my score on the golf course and see all the things I missed!
