My Adventure:

After living in Hermosa Beach for 10 years, my return trip brought back so many wonderful memories. There is a lifestyle in Hermosa Beach that is all about pride in the community and having a great time. The Strand is a 26 mile adventure in itself. It is the place to see and be seen, with non stop activity. The perfect place to people watch, meet people and enjoy life.

The Beach House Hotel is located on The Strand, the lovely balconies offer guests non stop entertainment. The Beach House Hotel location is perfect for your trip to the beach. The beach is directly across from the hotel on the other side of The Strand. Pier Avenue is five minutes away and is more like a boardwalk, closed off to traffic and filled with lively restaurants, bars, and funky beach shops filled with locals, and visitors.

It seems that everywhere you look there are people laughing and having a great time, many dressed in beach wear, others in dresses and heels ready for a night out on the town. There is parking at the Beach House Hotel, so I suggest park the car and use the taxi service…Taxi’s seemed everywhere in Hermosa, so make the most of it. However, the town is so walkable, enjoy the ocean air and stroll around town.

My evening at the Comedy & Magic Club was a blast…don’t eat before, their food is very good! The Beach House has a package that includes Comedy & Magic Club tickets, also within walking distance, so check it out.

I was honored to have Olympic Gold Medalist Eric Fonoimoana on the show. He won his medal in beach volleyball, a tradition on the beaches of Hermosa. Eric can teach you how to play, so give him a call before you hit town.

Hermosa Beach is still a wonderful place to visit and live. The people are genuine and friendly, and The Strand has a allure and aura all of its own. Be adventurous and instead of the usual beaches you’ve been going to…….Hermosa Beach is waiting…I know I’ll be back!!!
