My Experience:

Whether you live in hot weather, cold weather, snow, rain or terrible humidity, nothing beats a trip to a beautiful coastal community!

Recently I made my second trip back to Half Moon Bay, CA. 501 miles and about eight hours, from the Coachella Valley, my anticipation was building the closer I got to HMB. Once there, this picture perfect seaside resort offered me a surplus of things to do.

Trying to do something new at every destination I immediately set out to explore the Fitzgerald Reserve surrounding the exception Seal Cove Inn where I stayed for two nights. Fantastic, a combination of beautiful old cypress trees, the coastline, and serenity.

The Seal Cove Inn is a wonderful comfortable and charming European/Country Manor. The rooms are spacious with flats screens, fireplaces, wifi, garden views and so much more…visit the Seal Cove Inn web site and book your stay.

I also made the restaurant rounds and had delicious meals at Cafe’ Gibraltar, Pasta Moon, and the list goes on. However, a walk along the long stretches of coastline helped me to build an appetite for the next dining experience. A treat for me was learning how to make a glass blown pumpkin. Yes, I actually blew glass with the help of Doug at HMB Art Glass. Lessons are open to the public and this is one experience you’ll talk about forever.

I also stayed at the Half Moon Bay Lodge, close to the Half Moon Bay Links Golf Course. Completely different from the Inn, this is a very comfortable property for the weary traveler, businessperson, or for families.

My four days in HMB was way too short, and it would be easy for me to go on and on about my TWF road trip to Half Moon Bay, CA…. My suggestion, go online or pick up the phone and book your trip today. Only 20 minutes below

San Francisco, every day is a perfect day in Half Moon Bay!!!!
