My Experience:

As each trip is a new adventure with exciting new discoveries to be made, my 440 mile seven hour trip to
the Quail Lodge & Golf Club in Carmel Valley, CA couldn’t have been more worth it!

Recently undergoing a 28 million dollar renovation, this California Ranch Style property offers guests a “welcome home”
feeling and they do all the work. The 850 acre grounds are beautifully manicured with trees, flowers, lakes, and of course lodging.

Surrounded by lush green rolling hills, I had the option to relax by the pool, dine at Edgar’s, enjoy the nine hole putting course that
winds through the bungalows, or actually play 18 holes on the championship regulation course adjacent to the lodging.

I did it all, and a little work. My suite was spacious and comfortable with a king size bed, fireplace, two flat screen televisions, large sitting area, work station, and roomy patio. In my travels never has a property realized the need for healthy wifi/internet connection as the Quail Lodge. This free service cut my work time in half because the signal is so strong, I’m now officially spoiled.

The lodging is conducive to weddings and bridal showers, as well as a boys golf weekend away. For business travelers you’ll have everything you need, and if you travel solo as I do, I felt comfortable and safe the entire trip.

If you are traveling to the area to sight see, take in the beach, play golf at Pebble Beach, again the Quail Lodge is the place to stay. Why spend extra dollars for a name, when you’ll enjoy the Quail Lodge every bit as much see all the sights and have money left over to spend in Carmel, the Lodge at Pebble Beach, or take a day trip up to San Francisco.

Did I mention pet friendly? For those who remember Max he’s still there greeting guests and their furry friends, wandering around the property and riding around in golf carts. Max has a special welcome gift for your pet, from one dog to another…he’s such a sweet dog and a great foot warmer;-)

Originally opened in 1964, the new and improved Quail Lodge and Golf Club in Carmel Valley continues to have the charm
excitement of the past, but with a new found zest for their guests and the future.
